Comment: Delores has decided to sell this beautiful and rare blade from her collection.
Provenance: The Glenn Westlake Collection* from northern Schuyler (pronounced “Sky•ler”) County or southern Fulton County near where the Sangamon and the great Illinois River converge. This artifact was found near the tiny town of Bader, just south of Astoria IL and also near Crane Lake.

Comments: A very ancient and well used Hardin. Burlington chert was prized for its durability. This point’s near perfect condition and prized material make for a good bargain at this price.
Provenance: Pike County IL
Acquisition: Michael Lewis Collection. Mr. Lewis was an avid collector of all things authentic – especially Indian Artifacts.

Comments: A very RARE Big Blade. You are not going find an authentic big blade like this anywhere else on the internet.
A much smaller blade near identical in appearance can be found in Indian Artifacts: the Best of the Midwest © 2005 on pg 424 from Marshall CO, KT. This one was well-preserved with original pine pitch tar imbedded into the base.
Probable Usage: Spear point / Knife / Spade
Provenance: White CO, IL near the Wabash River bordering Kentucky.

Probable Usage: Spear point and knife. Dove Tail points are found throughout Illinois, portions of bordering states, and into Missouri and Arkansas. Beautiful five-inch Dovetail Etley points however, are rare. This may be a transitional Middle to Late Archaic artifact. This near perfect creamy glossy flint artifact has blue swirls.
